"This hotel is a little pricey looking when you check to see how much it will cost you, but when I went i planned on staying for 2 days and wound up staying almost a week. This hotel is truly paradise, and if they were cheaper I would just move in. This hotel has everything you could ever want or need and the customer service is unparalleled by anything or anyone. Easily the best hotel anywhere from Germany to the four corners or the U.S. and everywhere in between, and I have stayed in most. Would not choose to stay anywhere else. This place is better than home, it really is paradise."

"Castillo Real was a sensational stay on St. Augustine Beach. The hotel was better than advertised as the room was top notch, clean as pure snow, and delightful with elegant vanity, beautifl decoration, amazing jacuzzi, and extremely comfortable bed. Not to mention that breakfast at La Cocina was terrific!! The customer service from the front desk, to servers at La Cocina to housekeeping was perfect. A perfect stay at Castillo Real and I appreciate it. The only negative to any part of the stay had to deal with the bath robe (I do not wear robes, my wife does) as my wife stated the bath robe was scratchy, not soft. That is nitpicking, I know. Delightful stay and next time I am in St. Augustine, Castillo Real will be the choice. Thanks!!"

"I made reservation at another location close to this one when we got there the 'hotel' was terrible. I called Castillo Real and they got me a room immediately. "My husband and I planned our wedding at Castillo Real. We had our ceremony on the beach and then came back to the hotel for a wonderful dinner at the restaurant inside the hotel. Our guests loved the accommodations and they all stayed for the entire weekend. We make it a point to visit at least once a year. The hotel staff was so helpful and really made the wedding 'weekend' wonderful for everyone."

"I am writting to inform you of the excellent customer service that I just received this past weekend from Sarah. My boyfriend & I were in St. Augustine from Tampa to celebrate Valentine's Day. The original hotel that we were going to stay at ended up being a complete dump to where I didn't even want to touch anything. We ended up checking a few other hotels & none of them had availability for Friday & Saturday night. We stopped in at the Castillo Real & Sarah informed me that they had one room left that she had been holding all week as a back up in case something happened to one of the other rooms. I was completely beside myself! At that point I didn't even care what the price was. The room ended up being AMAZING! It had a king bed, it was a jacuzzi room with the ocean view on the top floor. Sarah really turned our weekend around for us & we both greatly appreciated what she was able to do for us. Thanks to Sarah we have found the hotel we will be planning on staying at eveytime we go up to St. Augustine!"

"After 2 days looking online for a hotel in St. Augustine Beach, we decided to give a chance to Castillo Real, We never heard of it and all reviews were possitive. We arrived to the place, beautiful and elegant, we were a little earlier for the check in but that was not a problem for the hotel to allow us to check in. Not just that, as a courtesy, we were upgraded to one of the Oceanview suites with hot tub, no extra charge. Opening the door and we had a nice aroma of clean and fresh and it was. Extremely clean, well provided with all supplies a nice california king size bed, with clean sheets. Luxurious designs. A nice and comfortable hot tob. And a private balcony on the forth floor. The only...side down is that the ocean view os not absolute, since is a smaller building in front. We still could enjoy the view, but like I said, Is not absolute. Ocean is 3 minutes walking. Very quite hotel. La Cocina restautant is a must visit. And the personnel, very friendly. Thank you to all for your smiles from day arriving to leaving. We will return!"

"My husband and I live about 30 minutes away,St. Augustine is our get away city. This is the first time we have stayed at Castillo Real. What a treat!! We got a jacuzzi room and king size bed. The balcony was beautiful. The decor of the room was amazing! The beds were oh so comfy! Best nights sleep I've ever had at a motel. The service was super. Next time I want to stay longer and take advantage of the restaurant and spa amenities! We have found our new get away!! Thank you so much!!"

"I was only in St. Augustine for one night but was thoroughly impressed with the Castillo Real. I work at a Qualiy Inn and the Castillo Real exceeded my expectations. At check-in, my room was not ready. When I checked backed a while later and the room was still not ready, the front desk clerk was nice enough to move me to a larger room. I did have breakfast in the restaurant and was impressed with the service, presentation, and food quality. I do plan on returning to Saint Augustine in the near future and will be staying at the Castillo Real."

"We stayed here April, 2010. This hotel is for sure the best hotel in the area. We had reservations at an Inn on Vilano Beach, but when we arrived, we were very disappointed with what we saw. We chose to stay at Castillo Real instead and were very, very pleased. The beautiful ocean is only steps away and it is a short drive to lots of the area attractions. Thank you SOOO much to Miranda ( I think was her name!) at the front desk, she was so friendly and helpful! We are planning a second stay in a few weeks. Can't wait to return!!!!"

"We spent 4-5 days in April, 2006 as part of a trip for our 50th wedding anniversary and had such a wondertime time we made a promise to return. However two months later my husband had a cancer relapse and was in and out of hospital for treatment until he died in October. Our visit was the only celebration we had for the anniversary as family was waiting until June, which by then was too late. My memories of the time we spent will live on in these days. We had room 109 and ate at the restaurant each day while we were there. We walked on the beach and sat at the pool. What wonderful memories to have. Only regret that we never were able to return. It was a memorable time for the dark days that followed.

"Have visited St. Augustine Beach several times but first time staying here and loved the interior decorating. One of the reasons I visit St. Augustine is for their art galleries and this motel fits perfectly with an art gallery in itself. Loved the decor of my room including the art. Really found the staff very pleasant and informative especially Zana with her cheerful personality and Rachel and Mary. Glad the location was right next to the beach to take in those morning sunrise walks and evening walks. Can't say enough about my pleasurable visit and definetely will tell others about this motel. When I do come and I will I will be staying here for sure. Thank you so much for such a great visit."
