"We stayed her with our two teenage boys and it was great! Accomdations were great with having the microwave and frig. Great for the boys to have snacks while we were here. Also the location right next to the beach was fantastic and not far at all to the downtown area. Would recommend to anyone and will come back again!"

"During our stay in June 2009, we had the pleasure of being taken care of by Mary at the front desk several times. While the things she did are something all should do on a regular basis, we stay in hotels often and from experience, you don't often meet someone as accomodating as her. From getting us checked in to or room early, to helping us locate the best places to view shuttle/rocket launches, to trying to locate a seafood buffet, she is great and you should feel honored to have an employee like her. She even allowed us to use hotel dryer, when guest one broke down in the middle of using it. She made an already very pleasant stay at your hotel even better!"

"We enjoyed this beach trip more than any other in a long time. The location was wonderful; so easy to get to Historic St. Augustine. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the restaurant was fantastic (maybe a little on the pricey side, but good food with profressional presentation!) All in all, a great place to stay!"

"We stayed here in October for my wife's birthday, loved it, and went back for a Valentines getaway in February. We are reserving again for her birthday this coming October. The staff was very nice and the rooms were excellent. The jacuzzi room overlooking the ocean is wonderful. A two minute walk puts you on the beautiful beach; we flew our kite for several hours. Just a very relaxing getaway. Highly recommended."

"My husband and I just got back from a four-night stay here. The room was awesome---so lavishly decorated and up-to-date. We loved the balcony with the ocean breeze and view of the pool and ocean. We were on the 4th floor and highly recommend it for the ocean view. The whirlpool was huge and a nice addition to our stay. The beach is a short walk, and we appreciated how the beach access had a ramp instead of stairs. We hope to return next summer. For what you get in the king whirlpool room, it is well worth the price. Beautiful place to stay!!!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Castillo Real. It was our first time to Saint Augustine. The hotel's proximity to the beach is perfect. Access to the beach is just a few yards away. The room was absolutely perfect; the mattresses are perfectly soft; the pool and hot tub were perfect; the staff was very very friendly--they helped us with every question we had. We loved our stay at Castillo Real."

"My stay was soooooooo relaxing. Open the balcony door & feel the ocean breeze as it sweeps into the room. As I slipped into the whirlpool the ocean air brought an extra special relief of coolness over the warm water. And the bed was 'Oh so' comfortable, with fresh crisp bed linens. From the fragrant soaps, lotions, & hair products down to the soft fluffy bathrobes, its luscious, & luxurious. I can hardly wait until I can return again....Highly recommend.......Superb Stay...........perfect place to get away from it all."

"This is my third visit to the Castillo. The corner Suite was beautiful. I walked out on the balcony and watched the sun rise over the ocean. I can not say enough about the food at la Cocina. It was perfect in every detail. Workout room was OK but you made up for it with the Steam and Sauna rooms. Thank you Mr. Simmons and staff!!! I am recommending your Hotel to all of my friends"
